Wicklow Writers now have a blog For current news Check out http://wicklowwriters.blogspot.com _____________________ We are a group of creative writers and poets who were established in January 2001 and 2004, respectively, in Wicklow Town, Ireland. Within our first year we launched Humanity, an anthology of poetry and short stories. In 2005, we launched Voyages, our second anthology of poetry and prose, and we invite you to browse the extracts currently on display in Anthology. During the year, we run a number of events, including readings and day trips in search of inspiration. Our Writing Sessions: We meet every Monday evening at 8 pm in Kilmantin Arts Gallery in Wicklow Town. Writers' group and Poets' group meet on alternate weeks. Members are encouraged to chair at least one of the sessions each year. Our annual subscription of 35 euros covers both groups.
